City’s one of the most exceptional and active women’s group Anupam Mahila Club has launched their 6^th Annual Shopping Gala, “Eva-2011” today at Vinayak Vatika, Sukher road.

The 3 day event was inaugurated by Kiran Maheshwari , BJP general Secretary in the presence of club members, business owners and eagerly looking shoppers who have got an exclusive opportunity to shop various products and items available at number of stalls in the fest.

Manju Singhvi, President of the club said, “This is our 6^th yearly shopping festival and the response is increasing every year with more companies and brands joining us. Last year we had around 40 stalls, this time it doubles with 85 stalls exhibiting various products and services.”

Explaining the motive behind this shopping fest, Manju says, “We intend to raise funds in order to help underprivileged girls. We try our best to provide them education to make them stand at their own.”

Anupam Mahila Club was started in 1960 by a few local women of Udaipur who felt the necessity of a well organized group only for women, by women and with women. The group now has 200 members; all with strong financial and social presence.

The club also assists those women, who do odd jobs from home, by giving them technical support.

Eva, the yearly shopping event has stalls from various places in India, “This time we have wide range of products from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad etc. The products includes clothes for men, women and children, house hold items, jewelries, crockery, paper bags, paper boxes, decorative items etc.,” informed Manju Singhvi.
