Today Department of Social Justice in association with Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities which was on 3^rd December. Several outdoor competitions were held for specially challenged children.

The program was started with a rally that began from collectorate; District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar flagged off the rally.

290 children from 11 blocks of the city took part in the competition. Babulal Berwa, district coordinator informed that the chief guest of the program was Niranjan Narayan Rathore, MD BN Institutes.

Berwa informed that children enjoyed sports, debate, drawing, braille alphabet competition and recognizing the items by touching and smelling etc.
