An Inter college student seminar on Youth in New Millennium (Career Opportunity & Challenges) was organised by Faculty of Commerce and Information Technology, St. Gregorios College, Udaipur today at college auditorium.

The motive of this event was to share vibrant and encouraging views and thoughts of the youth about the Career opportunities and Challenges that are available in the field of Commerce, Management and Information Technology. St. Gregorios College, Udaipur represented by Asis Mansoori and Sheena John secured 1^st positions in the competition. They presented their paper on ‘Role of Banking in uplifting of Rural areas’.

2^nd & 3^rd positions were secured by India International College and B.N. PG Girls College respectively.

Students from different colleges such as Pacific College of Management Studies, Advent College of Management, College of Commerce, B.N. PG College, B.N. PG Girls College, India International College, St. Gregorios College and others participated in this event and expressed their views on the topic.

The Chief Speaker and Guest of Honour Dr. P.K. Jain, Chairman, Faculty of Management Studies, Udaipur in his speech addressed and guided the youth on various aspects of achieving success in life through his motivational talk.

Dr. Jain emphasized on Personality Development of an individual that prepare the students for success. In his motivational speech he suggested the students to set their priorities and also pointed out that students should always look forward for some Imaginative thoughts rather than relying on gained knowledge.

His belief is that Imagination is More Important than Knowledge. He guided students on various topics like Self Belief, Imagination, Knowledge empowerment and Career Building with the help of anecdotes and his personal experience

Chief Guest Dr. D.S. Chundawat also expressed his views and encouraged the students to become more enthusiastic to achieve their goal in life. He suggested them various career options available in different fields.

Prof. N.K. Dashora & Prof. K.K. Dave, Directors, Pacific University were also present in the function and they also shared their valuable thoughts on the topic. Principal of the college Dr. Joon and Administrator and Manager of the St. Gregorios Society Father Varghese were also present in the seminar.
