Two students of class IX were expelled from school after they were caught consuming alcohol in the classroom by their teacher.

This shocking incident has raised many an eyebrow on how even school-going youngsters get influenced into taking up such disgraceful act in a place like school, which is regarded not less than a place of worship in our culture.

According to school authorities, this disturbing act came under light when some students complained of a foul smell coming from the classroom; when the class teacher checked; he found a bottle of soft drinks filled with alcohol.

“This was reported and followed by a strict inspection in which the culprits were caught and both the students later accepted their misconduct”, says the authority.

“We have called their parents and did meetings with higher authorities of the school and decided that these boys cannot continue their studies in our organization as we are answerable not only to their parents but also the rest of students’ parents,” said one of the school officials.
