Today on the first death anniversary of Delhi Rape Case, which ignited nationwide fury over crime against women, students of Medical and Nursing colleges of the city organized a candle march, poster and slogan competition.

Today on the first death anniversary of Delhi Rape Case, which ignited nationwide fury over crime against women, students of Medical and Nursing colleges of the city organized a candle march, poster and slogan competition.

The motive of the program was to remember the 23-year-old girl victim ‘Damini’ who was brutally gang raped and assaulted by four people. Damini succumbed to death after few days of the incident.

Around 100 students of GNM Nursing School participated in the slogan competition held today morning. Best three participants Dinesh Choubisa, Parvati Seveda, Santosh Kumari were awarded.

According to Ruth.D Ram, vice principal, the program was held at RNT Medical College. Sukhlal Dhabai, senior teacher of BSA Nursing School and Brijesh Kumar Dhakad, president UG Hostel were also present on the occasion.

Students also organized a candle march at Delhi Gate in the evening.
