Swami Vivekanand Jayanti observed in Udaipur
The Akhil Bharatiya Kayasth Mahasabha celebrated the occasion by gathering at the Vivekanand Bridge near Anand Plaza,University Road.
The statue of Swami Vivekanand was garlanded at the venue and a gathering was addressed, where a few words were said about the great man and he was described as the gem of the Kayasthas in India and one of the greatest of heroes of the nation.
Today, January 12, Swami Vivekanand Jayanti was observed by the people of Udaipur.
The Akhil Bharatiya Kayasth Mahasabha celebrated the occasion by gathering at the Vivekanand Bridge near Anand Plaza,University Road.

Subsequently, students from the ABVP (Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad) also joined the gathering. 21 diyas ( mud lamps) were lighted by the students and chanted slogans in appreciation of Swami Vivekanand.
In another event to mark the occasion, volunteers of the Bharat Vikas Parishad addressed school children today at the Shaheed Smarak, Town Hall and enlightened the children on the personality of Swami Vivekananda. The Chairperson of Nagar Parishad, Rajni Dangi was also present at the occasion.
