A prominent businessman from Udaipur is honoured by the President of India for various trade achievements in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Virendra Prakash Rathi, one of the founders of award winning company Tempsens Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. is honoured by the President of India Pratibha Singh Patil in an award ceremony held in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on Friday.
Rathi is among 13 other industrialists from Rajasthan who has received the accreditation for entrepreneurship qualities, expansion and research under their effective leadership. Tempsens Instrument is a part of Pyrotech Group which extensively deals in Thermocouple Resistance Thermometers (RTD’s). Virendra Prakash Rathi was also honoured with special recognition in the year 2010 with
Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award. Besides heading one of the biggest business houses of Udaipur, Rathi is also active in various social works. He is an active member of Rotary Club Udaipur where he holds the position of Joint Secretary. He is awarded with an appreciation letter, a certificate and a cheque from the Indian President. Various high profile personalities including officials from Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Industry were present in the ceremony. Jugal Kishore Vaidya, Akhilesh Sharma, Rajast Agarwal, Ravi Poddar, Shipr Kumar, Roop Narayan Sharma, Alok Jain and Anuj Bairathi from Jaipur, Manoj Maheshwari from Nagaur and Satyanarayan Maheshwari from Bundi were honoured for their marvelous work in their respective fields.
