A senior citizen, JMS Vitthal, aged 85 has sent a note of gratitude from USA to two young boys who helped him out during his visit to Udaipur. Vitthal sent an email to UT and wanted us to convey this message.
He mentioned in his email that he visited city during April. A total stranger to the city, he had booked his ticket from Udaipur to Delhi via Shrinath Travels. He said that because of the callous attitude of the travel agency when he reached the petrol pump near which buses were to depart, he was not able to spot any bus from the travel agency. It was getting dark and there was no one to guide him.
Just then he saw four people in a red car and motorcycles. Vitthal approached them and sought help. Looking at Vitthal’s plight and frustration, one of them asked Vitthal to get in the car. The young men then drove him in their car, asked a set of people on the place where the boarding could possibly be taking place. They just about managed to get Vitthal on to the bus as it was about to leave.
Vitthal mentions in his letter that as a complete old man stranger to the city, he will always remember and cherish the kindness shown by the four young men. He wants, via this letter, to say thank you to the four boys and also to their family members for raising such children and also congratulate them.
