The District Administration is going to organize Flower show at Lake Fateh Sagar from 25th December till 3rd January. This year, the 10 day long show will also provide around 10,000 plants free to students.

With the joint collaboration of Udaipur Municipal Corporation, UIT, PWD and Hindustan Zinc, the flowers and plants from various nurseries, garden superintendents, hotels and general public will be displayed at this grand exhibition, said BL Kothari, NLCP’s team leader.

The flowers from various parts of India including Pune, Hyderabad and Mumbai will be kept for display. Rajasthan Agriculture University will also be showcasing rare species of plants in the show. The sale of the flowers in the show is kept restricted.

Unlike last year, this year the flower show will run for 10 days and special actions are being taken for the protection of the plants. For their safety, a different team has been appointed. Also, tankers will be provided for the watering of the plants.
