Just after two days of the heartbreaking incident that took away life of two young students, Kartikey Sharma and Himank Rathore, hundreds of youth gathered today at Fateh Sagar and paid condolence to the deceased.

Kartikey, 26 and Himank 17 died due to drowning in the lake on Monday evening (17^th March). Their bodies were pulled out after hours of search operation.

Around 200 people gathered at Fatehsagar and lit candles in the memory of Kartikey, who was well known as Goldy among his large number of friends and Himank, a 12^th class student.

Earlier this morning, a group of people under the banner of Central Student Union met District Collector and requested to arrange special rescue and security teams at all the lakes of Udaipur.

Pankaj Borana, president of Central Student Union said, “This mishap could have been avoided if there were rescue team available on the spot.”
