The world’s largest travel site TripAdvisor has brought a huge smile on the faces of Udaipurites, spread across the world. This year’s voting of “2015 Travellers’ Choice” has landed Udaipur in one of the lists.

This year 2015, in the list of Top 25 Destinations- India, Udaipur landed on the 6^th position after Jaipur (1^st), New Delhi (2^nd), Mumbai (3^rd), Jaisalmer (4^th) and Bardez (5^th) grabbing the first five positions.

Every year, the travelers from around the world vote for their favorites from around the world in plethora of categories.

According to Trip Advisor, ‘Udaipur, known as the Venice of East, boasts several sparkling lakes against a backdrop of the Aravali hills.’

Making its way to the 6^th position, Udaipur has beat Jodhpur, romantic Agra, beautiful Varkala, Kolkata, majestic Leh, Manali, holy Varanasi and Khajuraho etc.
