Under the PM’s initiated Special Cleanliness Drive, out of all the urban bodies in the state, Udaipur stood at the second position after Jodhpur at first in terms of cleanliness.

Under the PM’s initiated Special Cleanliness Drive, out of all the urban bodies in the state, Udaipur stood at the second position after Jodhpur at first in terms of cleanliness.

Followed by Bharatpur on the third position, the cities will be awarded at Indira Gandhi Panchayatiraj Sansthan. Jaipur, the state capital however, could not make it to the top 3 despite appointing 20 IAS officers for this mission by CM Vasundhara Raje.

The Special Cleanliness Drive was initiated from 9th March till 27th March and based on the photographs of work incorporated and discipline maintained by the Divisional Commissioner & Collector; the best city was rated.

UDH minister Rajpal Singh Shekhawat with Dr. Manjeet Singh and Purushottam Biyani will award the officials for delivering the best effort & work in this regard.
