An attendance of approximately 500 gents’ Hair experts from 17 different cities of Rajasthan is expected at the ‘State Level Conference for Gents Hair Experts’.

This conference is being organized by the Sen Kshor Kalaakar Mandal, Udaipur on 1^st May at Sukhadia Rangmanch, Town Hall, Udaipur.

Ashok Paliwal, General Secretary of the Sen Kshor Kalaakar Mandal, Udaipur said, “The motive of the conference is to promote Hair Cutting as an Art at the National level”.

The Chief Guests at the event would be Ahmed Habib, Harish Bhatia, Nayna Karunaratne, Sangeeta Chauhan, Savio John Pereira, Shakir Mirza, Parvez Habib and Shyam Bhatia.

There would also be a ‘Barber Show’ at the event. In the same competition, there will be a ‘Zafiro Men’ round where 20 hair experts from Udaipur will present different hair-styles and coloring with the help of models.

Hair & Beauty Organization and Prabhat Spa Saloon & Institute will organize a ‘Freedom Round’, where female designers will showcase their creative skills in hair-cutting, hair-styling and dress designing. There would also be a ramp walk by models.

Savio John Pereira, Brand Ambassador, Wella will demonstrate Clipper Cut technique. Shakir Mijra, a Gold Medal winner at the O.M.C Asia Cup, Japan will shed some light on creative techniques in gents’ hair cutting. Rohit, Christopher, Shyam Bhatia and Parvez habib will also deliver talks on the concept.

Ashok Paliwal added, “Ahmed Habib and Harish Bhatia will be honored for their achievements and contributions to the field. A proposal to promote Hair Cutting as an Art category would be placed in front of the Government. As per recent analysis, hair styling has taken the shape of an Art form in India”.

Sangeeta Chauhan, President, IIHBA will deliver the synopsis of the National level Programs of 2012 which are targeted to bring Beauticians at the National Level together. Nayna Karunaratne will speak on the Indian role in International Beauty competitions.

The event is supported by the International Hair Expert Group Organization, Coiffeur; Hair & Beauty Organization and Lake City Beauty Club. Representatives from 7 Beauty magazines at the National Level would be present in the Barber Show.
