Driving from Udaipur to Gujarat is all set to become more smoother, faster and convenient with the six-laning of NH-8 from Udaipur to Rajasthan/Gujarat border.

IRB Infrastructure developers were announced as the preferred bidder for the project of six laning from Udaipur to Rajasthan/Gujarat border. The contract has been given on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) model. The estimated project cost for the company is estimated at Rs 2100 Crores.

The company will be given a 21 year concession period for this and is expected to complete the construction in 910 days. The project has been given out for the stretch between km 287.400 and km 401.200 of NH-8.
