Passengers will get back their air travel option between Udaipur – Jaipur as the services resume from July 15 this year.  Spice Jet will be the first airline to being their flights between the two most visited tourist cities of Rajasthan. Effectively, all Spice Jet flights between Delhi and Udaipur will fly via Jaipur.  Airport Authority of India granted their approval to the Management at Maharana Pratap Airport and agents have started their bookings for the route effective 15 July. The last airline to fly the Udaipur Jaipur route was Kingifisher, which ceased its operations in 2013.
