Udaipur might witness its biggest aquarium in coming years if everything will go according to plan. A 120 meter long corridor constructed at Vibhuti Park, Fateh Sagar Lake might become an aquarium consisting of small waterfalls and fish ponds inside the hallway constructed beneath the park area.
The U.I.T engineers have already proposed the plan to the chairman Roop Kumar Khurana, who later discussed this with the District Collector, Hemant Gera.
Sources also confirm that Collector Hemant Gera has already put forward the plan to the Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot in his last visit to Udaipur.
If the proposal gets a green flag then a large size aquarium, sitting area, fish ponds and small water falls will be constructed at the hallway which has a height of 5.5 meters, a width of 7 meters and a length of 120 meters.
The work of Vibhuti Park is nearing completion; and vehicular traffic is also accordingly restricted, as the final completion is expected to take another 5-6 months.
