Udaipur Municipal Corporation’s Cultural Committee held a meeting to discuss the upcoming Dusshera-Diwali Mela at Town Hall. The meeting was conducted under the leadership of Hemlata Sharma, President of the committee.

Members have suggested several ideas and plans to make better arrangements this year. It was decided in the meeting that the 10 day fair will consist of local talents and celebrity shows.

First two days will be dedicated to all local talents to showcase their skills, in which, one day will be dedicated to women.

The next five days, cultural evenings will be held and every evening will be theme based like Kavi Sammelan, Punjabi Night, Bollywood Star Night, Little Champs, Rajasthan Cultural Evening, Kawwali etc.

Muslim Ali Bandookwala, a corporator and member of the committee suggested that instead of fireworks, there should be laser light show.

Members also discussed about security, traffic and caretaking of logistics etc. and hope that all concerned authorities will support them.
