Umeed Foundation establishes in city to help provide Safe Drinking Water
‘Clean and safe drinking water is a right of every citizen of Udaipur.’ With this notion, Umeed Foundation, on January 11 began to reap the seed of providing clean water to all with the help of scientists and environmentalists.

Umeed Foundation will assess more than 100 samples of water from 6 different sites and after experimentation will present the report to the state government. Also, the Foundation which has been working on the Ganga project will submit the report to the Central Government under the Save for Ganga National Project.
For the establishment of the Umeed Foundation in Udaipur, many dignitaries were present at the event including Trustee of Darshan Dental College Dr. Jitendra Tahlia as the chief guest, Deputy Conservator of Forest Om Prakash Sharma, special guest Former Vice Chancellor Dr. Madhusudan Sharma and Lake Conservation Committee’s Convener Dr. Tej Razdan.
The noted speaker of the event Dr. Fatima Liyakat along with Omprakash Sharma, Madhusudan Sharma and Tej Razdan imparted varied insights about water and its conservation.
Senior Anchor of Zee News Rubika Liyakat gave the welcome speech; Yusuf RG informed about the Foundation and Liyakat Amar gave the vote of thanks with Naved Qureshi compered the event.
