Udaipur Umpires Guild organized a program to honor former Test Umpire Prof. R.S Rathod. The event was held on 22^nd Sept at Field Club Conference Hall.

Chief guests of the program were Dr. K.N Nag, ex-vice chancellor of Rajasthan College of Agriculture and Dr. Prashant Agarwal, president of Narayan Seva Sansthan.

The honor ceremony was held under the direction of renowned Cricketer Commander (retired) Gajendra Singh Shaktawat.

Fans of Prof. R.S Rathod discussed their personal meet and experience with Rathod who was also called “Raghu ji”. All guests were welcomed by the members of Udaipur Umpires’ Guild.

The Umpire Guild decided to make a trophy in the name of Rathod which will be given to best umpire, annually on 21^st Sept.

Many well known personalities of Udaipur including former cricketers, umpires and social workers were present on the occasion. The program was coordinated by ex international umpire Balwant Sharma.
