The Training and Exhibition Unit of Cooperative Development Planning run under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development at Vidhya Bhavan Polytechnic will be inaugurated on Monday, 13 Dec.

The function will be presided over by Riaz Tehsin, President of Vidhya Bhavan Society and the inauguration of the Office and the Unit will be done by Dr. J. S. Saini, Chief of Rural Development Department of N.I.T.T.T.R Chandigarh, Jamnalal Moad, Pradhan, Badgoan Panchayat Samiti and Ramesh Chaudhary, former President of UCCI in the afternoon of Monday at 3 pm.

The unit has strengthened 6 months free of cost training facilities in Electrical Wiring and Equipment Repairing, Repairing of T.V., Tape, Mobile, A.C. and Refrigerator, Beauty Culture and Data Entry Operator.

In the unit various equipments and plants including Biogas Plant, Developed Hearth, Irrigation Channels, Ball Bearing Pulley and Hand Pulverizer for drawing water from well and grinding grains, Solar energy Equipments, Peeling Equipments and Electrical Potter’s Wheel have been displayed.

Anil Mehta, Principal of Vidhya Bhavan Polytechnic said, “The exhibition exhibits various methods and techniques of rural life development and the Training unit will be inaugurated on Monday.”
