To encourage the heritage protection and conservation, a workshop at City Palace by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation was organized to benefit the guides of the city. The objective was to keep the guides informed about the initiatives taken to conserve the heritage so that they can inform the tourists about it.

Arun Acharya-senior guide informed about the various garden’s historical view, where he told that there are various precious gardens in the city where one can give a chilling solace in scorching heat. The kings here developed gardens with these objectives and Saheliyon ki Badi, Gulab Baag, Jag Mandir and Nehru Garden come under such beautiful gardens.

The foundation is currently focussing on Manak Chowk, Badi mahal, Kawarpada Ground of Jag Mandir etc to conserve as heritage. Mohta Park, Aravali Vatika, Moti Magri, Gurudayal Vatika, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Park, Suraj Pole, Guru Nanak Park etc are the targets in the city to be conserved and protected.

The greenery of these gardens alongwith some monuments need to be protected. He also shared information on statues and fountains to be used in the gardens to embellish them more beautifully.
