Workshop on Fashion and Styles Ends

The Sri Lankan beautician and fashion designer, Nayna Karunaratne and the President, Organization Mondiale Coiffure (OMC), Asia Pacific Zone, an international organization of hairdressers who was here to preside over the work shop was pleased to see the enthusiasm of all the participants in these 7 days.

 

Workshop on Fashion and Styles EndsUdaipur 12Jan: The 7 day International Work Shop on Creative and Fashion Hair Styles which started on 6th January, successfully concluded today, 12th January at Ceremony Resort, Udaipur.

The Sri Lankan beautician and fashion designer, Nayna Karunaratne and the President, Organization Mondiale Coiffure (OMC), Asia Pacific Zone, an international organization of hairdressers who was here to preside over the work shop was pleased to see the enthusiasm of all the participants in these 7 days.

Nayna Karunaratne did the certificate distribution and said “Beauticians from small cities have taken their first step for enhancing their presence on the National and International level. They must work harder and participate in the Asia Cup which will be held in Okinawa, Japan from 17th February this year”.

Styles like Open hair styling, creative styling, creative coloring, bridal styling, fashion show styling, trend cut, trend styling, presentation of a haircut in different forms, etc. were taught by Nayna Karunaratne in the past week to the 25 participants from 15 cities of Rajasthan.

Sushma Kumawat and Veena Sanadhya, who were also present in the closing ceremony today, praised the work done in the work shop.

Ashok Paliwal, Vice president of All India Hair and Beauty Association and Neeta Parikh, secretary of Hair and Beauty Organization informed that there will be more work-shops and fashion shows organized at the various cities of the state to promote awareness of the art.

Pushkar Sen, a beautician working with Prabhat Salon, Udaipur says, “What we were taught in past 7 days, is known to only 25 of us who attended the work shop. Nobody else in the state knows those skills. Thus, it was worth the cost and the time. “

Chitra Sharma, the owner of Naturals Beauty Saloon at Udaipur said “Nayna is a great teacher. She held our hands and taught us. The things we learnt are going to help us a lot as new hair styles are very in demand among the youth of the city”.
