A few days back when I told someone, do you know Udaipur is going to host Sunburn Music Fest in November, the person slapped me back with “Who is Sunburn?”

At first I was surprised to his ignorance but later I realized that I too was unaware of Sunburn and its rapidly increasing popularity among music maniacs from both national and international circuits.

Known for its fantastic artist line ups, arrangements and pulling crowd techniques, Sunburn knows the nerves of Indian Youth who are crazy for style, music and entertainment.

Hence here I am with 5 simple questions and answers for newbies who don’t know “WHO IS SUNBURN?”

What is Sunburn?

Sunburn is the name of an annual Electronic Dance Music Festival which was started in year 2007 from Goa and conducted every year with various well known DJs of India and world participating in it.

The fest became rapidly popular among Indian youth since it was organized at various other places of India including many college campuses. Besides Music, the festival also includes Food, Shopping and Entertainment for its audience.

Why it is known as Asia Largest EDM (Electronic Dance Music) Fest?

Sunburn 2013 which was held in Goa had biggest line up of around 120 artists and gathering of 1 Lakh people.

Every year, the festival is held for three consecutive days with several stages and various artists performing. There is no official claim but it is highly believed to be one of the largest Musical Fests in Asia.

Where Sunburn was organized previously?

From year 2007-2011, Sunburn was held in Goa but in year 2012, the event was held in Noida, New Delhi. In 2013, it was held in Mumbai. Many IITs, BITS Pilani (Goa), AIIMS also witnessed the famed music event.

Why so much buzz on Sunburn Udaipur?

Sunburn Reload which is scheduled to be held in Udaipur is going to witness the biggest music fest ever held in Mewar. The fest will give opportunities to all music passionate to meet at one place and enjoy the madness of EDM.

No! Sunburn Reload will be also special because of Artists Line up like DJ Candice Redding, Mumbai based Bhavik Butani and Sumit Handa’s Dual Drama, with DJ RIB & DJ Vaibhav (Jaipur) and DJ Bash of Udaipur to perform on 16^th November.

If sources are to be believed, tickets for the fest will be available from Monday on bookmyshow.com. The rates will be Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000 and Early Bird Tickets are from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2000.
