63rd Death Anniversary: Gandhi Still Getting Killed

63rd Death Anniversary: Gandhi Still Getting Killed

It’s been whole my life I read about Mahatma Gandhi- The Father of Nation. From school syllabus to high-end editorials, to the most commonly in our currency note, Mahatma Gandhi is everywhere in India.

Well known for his revolution for Indian Independence, Gandhi is indeed in soul of India as the most reverential Indian personality till date.

Today is the day Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Nathuram Godse in the year 1948, we remember this day as the Martyr’s Day.

Still, in fact it won’t surprise me if someone comes and say he hate Gandhi, I’ll reply “So what’s a big deal in that, there are people who hate even God, so why someone can’t hate Gandhi”

63rd Death Anniversary: Gandhi Still Getting KilledMany Gandhi’s admirers were upset after news of a facebook page named “I hate Gandhi” made headlines, few days back.

I saw that facebook page and read many justifiable comments of people who claimed to know how bad Gandhi was. Well, I don’t know how bad was he nor I want to know because I believe that no one is born great, it takes lots of sacrifices and uphill struggle to achieve something close to known as “great”

In my views, Mahatma Gandhi was the only man who successfully made each and every Indian step out of their homes to follow the Satyagrah Moment. He was the only Indian leader (not politician) who wore simplest clothes, lived in a simple house and ate simple food unlike today’s most corrupt brigade of Indian Politicians. So, I have a question for all of you scholarly Gandhi Haters that can you do anything or an inch better than what Gandhi had did?

Certainly not!

Making mistakes is part of Human nature: Quran.

So why detaching Gandhi ji from this? Think big for a personality like Gandhi or better don’t think.

I’ve been taught by an elderly man that we should “ignore flaws of big people”.
