The Android 12 is the latest operating system from Google. As always, users are keen to jump on to the new OS and enjoy the latest features and security updates. While some of these features may be obvious, some may be hidden and take time to figure out. For example, one of the hidden features of the Android 12 OS is the ability to switch to Game Mode, which can enhance your gaming experience when playing your favourite video games or even live casino games when placing odds on sites like Comeon. Read on as we explore how to find the hidden features on Android 12 to enhance your user experience.
Gaming Mode
If you are into gaming, then you will definitely love this feature. The gaming mode feature allows you to play your games without distraction. It can be accessed via Settings>Notifications>Do Not Disturb>Schedules. Once there, you can tap the Game Mode feature to turn it on. One of the main advantages of turning this feature on is that it forces your phone to optimize itself when playing some games that use a lot of your phone resources such as Call of Duty Mobile.
Notification history
Notifications can sometimes be annoying or distracting, especially when you are performing some tasks that require a lot of your attention. If you are those users that want to clear out notifications without reading them but want to see them later, the new OS makes it easy. To view your notifications and alerts in the last 24 hours, scroll down your notification area where you will be able to access the history button. In case you do not see it, you can enable it by tapping the Manage option and turning on the Notification History option.
One-hand-mode
There are times your phone may want to make it easy to access features on your phone especially when you feel they are taking up too much space. The one-handed mode actually makes your huge phone feel smaller by moving what is on your top half to the bottom half. This makes it easier and quicker to access settings or your notifications. It can be turned out through Settings>System>Gestures>One-handed mode>Pull screen into reach. However, it may take a few tries since it requires you to swipe down on the small bar at the bottom of your screen.
Quick settings menu
Depending on how you use your phone, some settings will be more important than others. Android 12 lets you personalize which settings you want to prioritize for fast and easy access. For example, you can set and adjust settings such as Wi-Fi, alarms, Do Not Disturb, Game Mode and Bluetooth, among others by just swiping the top of your screen. To customize your swipe the top edge of your screen and expand again so you can view more settings. You may also want to tap on the small pencil icon to expand on the list. You should then be able to tap and move individual tiles around and arrange them depending on how you want. You may also remove them by dragging them further down and removing them from the access menu to clean apps you do not need. If you use some settings a lot, it would make sense to drag them to occupy the top positions since they are the ones that show up first.
