In the recent past, PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel ignited a national conversation on the necessity of college education in America. The debate title was: Do you need a college degree to succeed in America? He had his annotations on the topic, however, in reality; it’s not only America’s problem, but, a global one.

Three years ago, when I took admission in one of the most acclaimed engineering colleges in state’s capital, I was stunned thinking that I was there, later, one by one all the pages of Indian education system unfolded before me.

At the preliminary step of college life, we are taught how to tie a neck tie? How to write a resume? They never taught us how to implement & market ideas sparkling in young brains. The first time when I attended TATA FIRST DOT workshop, organized by Tata Group, I recognized the power of ideas. Only an idea can change the entire world.

Acquiring several academic qualifications is not the purpose of education. Many of the college graduates today are not contributing in nation’s economy (in spite of having capability). So called professional colleges are only training students for future slavery, socially called, employment.

Today, we need business leaders & entrepreneurs. We should mold our education system as per global requirements. People need work, we have to create work opportunities, not just jobs. Breaking 9 to 5 jail should become a mass movement. We have to craft an environment for our future generations that could promote a better life on the planet.

Financial security should not be a big issue for the people having a functional brain. Our education system should provide a platform for transforming ideas into products.

A lady was cutting vegetables. Accidently, she cut her index finger. The incident repeated a couple of more times. One day her husband observed her finger smeared in blood.

He tied a cotton ball on the finger with sticky tape. However, as index finger is constantly active part of human body, further, for house making females it’s wet more often, cotton generally slipped from finger.

Johnson started finding out reliable solution for the strange problem. His thought birds began to fly in the sky of opportunities. Implementing several ideas, eventually he discovered a sticky band with antiseptic liquid. It was Johnson’s band-aid which is a synonym to band-aid industry on earth today. It was an instance. How problems promote ideas & ideas transform into products.

Detecting society’s problem & generating ideas to resolve them is an art. Sometime earlier, I had a conversation with a Swiss student, discussing about green life.

The idea was: we are all suffering from continuous health degradation due to chemical based vegetables? Can we plant vegetables at our roof? The thought was exciting & somewhat shocking too. Yet, after duration of a few months, I spotted an advertisement in an English daily talking about a company which would implant & manage roof green farming in your city. Just imagine, how rapidly ideas shape-up in daily life?

At present, India’s economy is growing rapidly. We don’t only want an advanced economy, but, a sustainable and advanced economy so that we can easily by surpass recessions of the future.

Education system plays a prime role and lays an extreme impact on kid’s psychology. We can create robotic citizens for future India or the creative entities as well. It’s time to choose, to break the college jail.

Breaking college jail will open our gateways for being global idea ideal. It will enhance creative freedom and refrain from boring classes. Making a tremendous change on globe, we are ready to walk on free path which ends at creating an India having the most stable sustainable economy in the world. Don’t wait! Break these prison bars. Somebody is waiting for you at success doorstep. ‘It’s amazing’!
