By the way: I Wish Festival Nights Lasted Forever
One month of festival mood is going to be over in India. It's really tough to say bye bye to these splendid festivals for one year. We celebrate these festivals every year but fun and enjoyment remain the same.

I am fortunate to have a spiritual and secular family. I had best parents and siblings who cared a lot in my childhood. My parents taught me to celebrate each festival with same respect and feel.
I think no religion teaches us to hate others. I felt the same sweetness in Bengali rasgulla and Rajasthani Lapsi. I still remember Durga puja holidays of school days. This festival is being celebrated in Bihar and Bengal with same enthusiasm. We used to wear ethnic outfits and visited almost each and every pandal of our city. I never thought that being a punjabi I should hate other castes.
I had spent most of my life in different cities , learning the culture of many states. I don’t belong to any particular part of India .
I think the reason is to be born and brought up in different cultures has made me secular. If you are born in a city and spend whole life in same atmosphere, it reflects in your thoughts and opinions.
It’s really important to travel and meet people of different religions and states if you want to grow.
Festivals change our mood and make us learn to break the same old boring routine.
I wish these festivals lasted forever. Lights, sweets, bling and colours made me full of zeal. Sickness of mind vanishes when you worship Gods and Goddesses in different forms.
I have met many people who are not ready to learn anything new and want to spend their whole life living with the same old pattern. These type of people are responsible for the gender discrimination and racism all over the world. Male superiority and other thoughts are brain child of a particular class who don’t understand the meaning of peace. They are fighting an endless fight with themselves. I had heard many stories of evil monsters and brave princes in my childhood. These are not merely stories, you can still easily find these characters all around.
It’s important to remember the goodness of hearts and forgetting the bad incidents. Festivals play an important role in our life in every way. At least my life get inspired by the brightness of festivals.
I see a different India in festival season, specially Diwali is the festival which every Indian celebrates with same enthusiasm.
Please tell Goddess Lakshmi to travel the whole world everyday so that each and everyday can be celebrated like a festival.
I wish all of you a bright and prosperous year ahead which illuminate your heart with kindness and love for every existing living being of this planet.
