Advaiya organized Hackathon 2016 on Friday, August 5, at its Udaipur campus, with the objective to explore new technologies, invent new ways to solve problems, and encourage Advaiya Centers of Excellence (CoE) activities. The competition produced some very interesting projects and prototypes.
The event was conducted in three rounds including an MCQ test, scenario based problem solving and the main challenge to build a given project. Teams undertook the challenge to develop real world prototype solutions of the problems given in five major areas – Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual Reality (VR), Facebook web apps, HTML 5 canvas and scripting, and Windows 10 Universal Apps – while getting support from mentors. They presented final prototypes at the end of the event after intensive coding and engineering.
Team “SANPANKS” claimed the top prize for the development of the Facebook app – Financial calculator. Ruchika, COO, Advaiya, gave away the prizes to the winners, and appreciated all teams for their efforts, enthusiasm, and inventive solutions.
“Given our history of innovation, we are very excited to organize such events where our team focuses their effort on creating new ideas, exploring new technologies, and designing inventive solutions. These experiences are valuable not only in learning new tech skills, but also for collaboration and team building,” said Manish Godha, CEO of Advaiya.
