Maharana Kumbha (1433-1468), son of Maharan Mokal who will always be known for the magnificent Kumbhalgarh Fort and Kumbha Palace.
Maharana Udai Singh I (1468-1473), son of Maharana Kumbha also known as Udaikaran, killed his own father(act of patricide) to occupy the throne.
Maharan Raimal (1473- 1509) son of Maharana Kumbha who defeated brother Udai Singh I and occupied the throne.
Maharana Sangram Singh I (Rana Sanga) (1509-1527) son of Maharana Raimal and a great warrior.
Maharana Ratan Singh II (1528-1531) son of Rana Sanga who was killed in a war in 1531.
Maharana Vikramaditya Singh (1531-1537) son of Rana Sanga and elder brother of Udai Singh II.
Maharana Udai Singh II (1537-1572) 4th son of Rana Sanga who founded the city of Udaipur.
Maharana Pratap Singh ( 1572-1597) son of Maharana Udai Singh II who fought the battle of Haldighati against the Mughals whose faithful horse Chetak is also well known in the history.
Rana Amar Singh I (1597-1620) eldest son of Maharana Pratap fought many battles against Akbar and Jehangir.
Rana Karan Singh (1620-1628) son of Rana Amar Singh was brave and a man of great vision. He is responsible for enhancing the building of City Palace.
