Those Days Aren’t Going To Come Back!

Many a time, I have longed for my childhood days. Childhood can be looked back upon as one of the best periods in one’s life. When you are a child, every dream seems realizable. With all your wishes, cries, fights and love you just build a universe around you. And your childhood becomes the most cherished photo album that you can carry throughout your path of life. Recounting of childhood memories denotes a very important timeframe in an individual’s life.  My childhood was filled with countless memorable moments that I would love to relive.

Childhood plays an important part in the development of an individual and how they grow as people. Human character takes its shape in childhood. Man gets deep and lasting impressions in his childhood. It is just like the potter’s clay.  It is a time of enjoyment, playfulness and innocence, but most of all; it’s a time of exploration, to discover how and where our footsteps on the trail of growth will lead us. The child is curious about everything and that makes childhood so special.  He is so energetic, enthusiastic and passionate for everything. A child lives in bliss of ignorance and innocence. He feels as if magic is always present in the world.

Childhood friendship is innocent, free from cares and it is an unconditional bond that we develop which is why it is so important.  In that period we tend to make friends much easier unlike teenagers. The things we look for in a friendship are not materialistic. We never forget the first friends we make and the reason is probably the sincerity and love we have for them. The memories and moments we spend with them are special, precious and joyful. It is something, which is priceless and incomparable. In fact, our needs are not much complicated.

At this stage, friendships not only build each child’s self-esteem, they also provide a context for expressing and trying out personal thoughts and feelings in a free and unguarded manner. Such freedom is possible because friendships, while close and caring, lack the socially mandated responsibilities and inequities present in later relationships. We are loyal to one another. Therefore, chums are especially capable of providing empathy and understanding.

I loved my childhood and miss it.  I miss not caring what I looked like. I miss doing whatever I wanted without being judged. I miss my childhood and want to find it again.
