Have you ever seen a small kid smiling? You might be thinking what a silly question is this? Everyone has been through this feeling once in their life. Just look at their smile with more attention this time, you will definitely see what sort of calmness is there. They are contended with whatever source is there for them to be happy. They never ask for big/expensive things to smile. They not only smile alone but make every person happy who is around them.

But the sad part comes when we grow up and start searching for happiness in bigger things. Here only it starts to slowly seep in-THINGS. We start valuing our materialistic possession more than the gems full of life we have around us.

Have you heard of that story which is about a deer that is busy searching that element ‘Kasturi’ (a very precious element with an ultimate odour) throughout his life, everywhere- every possible corner of the forest. It does so because it can sense its smell everywhere & which makes the deer confident that yes it is in the right direction in its search and very closer to its target. But you know what the secret is; it is already there within it. And poor deer, it just wastes its huge amount of time in searching for a thing which it already possesses.

This is the same thing we follow; we already have the power to be happy always/anytime. But what we do is, we work like anything to get that for us. We are ready to invest a huge amount of sum on materials, which we think can make us happy.

Happiness is not a material, which one can buy or a rare possession which only rich can afford. No, it is not like that at all. It is the purest emotion of all and we need not have to find it by running here and there. It is just there, there within us like the deer had it (what he wanted). Never waste time in searching for reasons to be happy, just look around and start observing unpretentious (small) things, you will know the real value of happiness, it’s priceless.

Do one good task daily & try to feel and compare that happiness with what you feel on buying a new possession for yourself. You will automatically get the answer.

Life is short; you never know what destiny has planned for you. You can’t even predict what will happen in the very next second, leave about days and years. So, why not laugh today, smile just now and spread smiles. Drop down your stress & do whatever makes you happy at least for 15 minutes a day. Just try it once, I am sure there will be a positive change you and you will love yourself more.

So, let the most amazing version of you be on duty now.
