The Unbought Pleasures in Life

Ever noticed a bird singing? Or the way they eat the tiny little bits of food that people drop in a hurry scurry? All what we do is swing from a timely routine day to another, failing to see what lies in between.

“Oh! I have so much of pending work to submit before deadline.” Have a lecture at nine, will snooze the alarm some nineteen times. Free time? Will sit around, crack some jokes, giggle and then giggle some more only to disappear later into our respective cubicles.

This fun filled schedule is so perfectly piled up that even if you pluck a single flower then the whole plant will rupture. Don’t know but something is amiss. Self realization? Maybe I am making it a hype or that’s all you can make out of life.

So please don’t be so busy doing nothing that you forget to live through each moment and the sanctity of each second. Vacate some portion of your ‘routine’ to relish things of sheer happiness.

Find Time to gaze at the sunset, go on a walk without your headphones on, make someone smile, fill your day with gratitude as these are some unbought pleasures.
