Unlike our futile infancy attempts of reciting the “Chandu ke Chacha ne Chandu ki Chachi ko” successfully, the food vendors of our very own “Jheelo Ki Nagri” have mastered their skills in enticing the tourists as well as the localities towards their palate delighting delicacies in a peculiar fashion. What makes their conduct more special is the hospitality with which they serve their customers and the minimal execution time of their services.
Few of the most celebrated city spots bearing the evidence of amalgamation of people from different walks of life such as Fatehsagar, Sukhadiya Circle, Town Hall, Doodh Talai have been adorned with the presence of these warm-hearted and ardent food hucksters.
The startling blend of the spices and the mouth-watering aroma of the savories have led to unearthing the bewildering statistics of minimal food wastage at these corners. The measures adopted by these vendors to corroborate the compliance of food and ambiance with the hygiene and safety standards are also worth accrediting.
From reconciliation of relationships to restoring of friendships by just asserting “Maan jaa na yaara, aaj meri taraf se gol- gappe khilaunga”, these places are heaven for peer-bonding. Also, the love with which these maestros come up with their dishes well proclaims the idea that “There is no love sincerer than the love of food!”
