The new River Indie electric scooter was recently launched.
Design
The scooter is completely different in terms of design. This scooter has square-shaped Twin Beam LED headlights and DRL. There is a strong crash guard on the side profile. Apart from this, there are large 14-inch alloy wheels. As a result, this scooter can be easily controlled on bumpy roads.
Storage Capacity
The River Indie scooter has a total storage space of 55 litres. There is 43 litres of under-seat storage under the seat. Apart from this, there is a 12-litre glove box in the front. This glove box has a fast USB charging port. Along with the facility of installing Pannier Mounts and a luggage rack on both sides of the scooter and on the footboard. As a result, you can easily carry your luggage while going on a long ride.
Battery and Range
River Indie has a powerful 4 kWh Lithium-ion Battery Pack. According to the company's claim, the scooter can run for 161 kilometres on a single full charge. As a result, this scooter is ideal for daily commuting or weekend trips. In addition, this battery has an IP67-certified rating to protect it from dust and water.

The scooter has a 6.7 kW PMS Electric Motor, which produces about 26 Nm of torque. The scooter takes 3.9 seconds to reach a speed of 0 to 40 kilometres per hour. The scooter has a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour. Apart from this, this scooter has three riding modes — Eco Mode, Ride Mode and Rush Mode. There is also a feature of Reverse Parking Assist.
The scooter has a 6-inch High-Contrast Digital Display at the front. This cluster will provide essential information, including speedometer, battery level, trip meter and turn-by-turn navigation. The scooter will come with Dedicated Smartphone App Connectivity; the scooter has disc brakes on both wheels.

The scooter is available in Monsoon Blue, Summer Red, Winter White, Storm Grey and Spring Yellow colours. Prices start at Rs 1.54 lakh.
