Ila Arun Launches Autobiography Parde Ke Peechhey in Udaipur

Parde Ke Peechhey covers the renowned Indian singer’s life from childhood to the present day with glimpses of her experiences both on stage and behind the scenes

Udaipur, January 14 - Parde Ke Peechhey, the autobiography of popular Indian singer Ila Arun, was launched at the Radisson Blu Palace Hotel, Udaipur, on January 12.  The launch ceremony was hosted by Prabha Khaitan Foundation in collaboration with Ehsaas Women of Udaipur.

Author Ila Arun launched the book in the presence of co-author Anjula Bedi, renowned Indian theatre director and playwright Bhanu Bharti, Kashti Foundation head Shraddha Murdia, Swati Agarwal and other guests.

At the event, Ila Arun, who is a popular Rajasthani folk-pop singer apart from being an actor and well-known TV personality, shared several anecdotes from her life. She also answered questions put to her by her fans who were there at the launch.

The singer said it was important to preserve traditional folk music in today’s modern era and shared that she has successfully made efforts in this direction. She added that Parde Ke Peechhey covers her life from childhood to the present day with glimpses of her experiences both on stage and behind the scenes.

Co-author Anjula Bedi also took to the stage to give insights into the book's content.

The event was attended by Riddhima Doshi, Kanika Agarwal and several book lovers and Ila Arun fans in the city. The guests were welcomed by Swati Agarwal.
