Nazneen Ali born and bought up in Udaipur is working as a Finance Manager at Bank Muscat, Kuwait. She did her bachelor in Business Management from B.N.Girls College and MBA from Pacific Institute of Mgt, after that she did Certified Management Accountant from IMA, USA.

Nazneen had a inclination towards poetry and reading since childhood and had been writing poems as a part of school and college programmes and as a hobby. The poem titled “The World’s Rainbow” describing the rich Indian culture and heritage. Nazneen dedicated this poem on the occasion of Republic Day.

-The World‘s Rainbow-

India is a rainbow in the world’s sky; Spreading its colors so vivid so high.

Its nation full of cultural diversity; Still, we live in peace and serenity.

The Himalayas are our guards, Taj Mahal our pride; Forts, lakes, rivers and deserts are found the country wide.

Eid, Diwali, Christmas, Onam, together we all celebrate; It’s this dwelling of different faith that makes our country so great.

We speak Hindi, English, Tamil, Marathi, or any tongue we wish; Still we happily end up eating Dosa with a Punjabi dish.

It’s the land of Gandhi – a man we adore; It’s the land of Nehru,Patel,Tilak,Bose and many more.

Raman, Kalaam, and Bhabha, each one is a gem; Who brought to the country glory and fame.

Tagore,Tulsi,Kabir and Ghalib are the country’s poetic chord; Demonstrating the fact that pen is no less than a sword.

Sachin,Sania and Sushil are our sporting arm; They bring to the country both thrill and charm.

Indian cinema is full of talent and art; Where Rajini,Bachchans and Khans rules the heart.

Our Army, Navy and Air force are our true heroes; Who have pledged to save us from all our foes.

We are no less in technology and space; With ISRO launching satellites and working with full pace.

From agriculture, livestock to industrialization; We have given so much to Global civilization.

And now together we vow to eradicate corruption; So on path of our progress we encounter no disruption.

As a nation, we will mature and grow; Ensuring we remain the World’s Rainbow.

We are the largest democracy with so much value at hand; We love our motherland, we love our motherland.
