Advaiya, a technology consulting and implementation services company that provides tailored digital transformation solutions with business applications and analytics, today announced its “Dashboard in a Day” (DIAD) workshops, co-hosted with Microsoft Corp., have achieved a new milestone by training 1,180 from 553 different companies in just over a two-year span.

Attendees have rated these DIAD workshops exceptionally high, giving them an average score of 4.8 out of a possible 5. With the success and popularity of the workshops, several new events will take place in 2020.

In these workshops, co-hosted by Microsoft, Advaiya’s team help workshop attendees understand Power BI as a solution for business data collaboration. The one-day workshop assists business and technical leaders to explore how data from different systems can be integrated into effective and insightful Power BI dashboards.

Attendees leave the workshop and go back to the office with several key takeaways; including, learning how to connect, import and transform data from a variety of sources; understanding how to define business rules and KPIs (key performance indicators); having the opportunity to explore data with powerful visualization tools alongside the support of a trainer; building visual reports in session; and sharing dashboards with their team and needed recipients.

At these events, attendees are encouraged to bring their own data in a CSV or Excel format to the workshop. Each of the DIAD events last two hours and are dedicated to enabling attendees to build reports and dashboards using their own data. Instructors will be on hand to assist and support attendees as they attempt to build their reports.
