Austria travel from India increases by 21% in one calendar year
Austrian National Tourist Office held its annual roadshow from the 6th-8th of February 2018. Delegates from local tourist boards, incoming agencies, attractions, hotels and travel partners were part of the roadshow to showcase Austria as a destination for summer 2018
Austrian National Tourist Office held its annual roadshow from the 6th-8th of February 2018. Delegates from local tourist boards, incoming agencies, attractions, hotels and travel partners were part of the roadshow to showcase Austria as a destination for summer 2018.
The roadshow was held in 3 cities; Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi and was a resounding success, with close to 300 agents attending collectively. Press events were held in Mumbai and Delhi.

Travel from India to Austria saw a 20.5% increase from 2016 to 2017 in arrivals and 20% in overnights. Austria total 2017: 3,24,400 overnights (plus 20% from 2016) from India and 1,77,700 arrivals (plus 20.5% from 2016)
