The company recently patented the design of its new electric maxi-scooter 'Razard' in India. As a result, the possibility of launching this new model in India has become stronger. This patent is being seen as the company's new strategy to capture the electric scooter market in the country.

Different design, maxi-scooter style

The Razard is much larger than a normal electric scooter; it is a maxi-scooter. Its design is quite sharp and angular. There is an LED headlight with V-shaped LED DRL at the front, which looks quite attractive. It also has features like a long windscreen, comfortable stepped seats for the driver and passenger, and a flat floorboard. The scooter also has a split pillion grab rail.

Front and rear disc brakes

The Razor is also quite advanced in terms of suspension. It has a telescopic fork at the front and a dual shock absorber at the rear. For braking, disc brakes are provided on both the front and rear wheels. The large alloy wheels and wide tires give the scooter a more powerful look. This maxi-scooter is suitable for long-distance journeys as well as city roads.

Speed ​​​​up to 100 kilometers per hour?

Vinfast has not yet said anything about the battery or motor of the Razor. However, according to Vietnamese media reports, this scooter may have a mid-mounted electric motor. The maximum power of this motor may be about 7.1 kW, and it is said that it will be able to reach a speed of about 100 kilometers per hour. However, this information has not been confirmed by Vinfast.

Will Razor come to India?

Vinfast is planning to increase its electric two-wheeler range in India. Before the Razor, the company had also patented the design of the 'Viper' electric scooter and an electric motorcycle in India.

Vinfast had earlier announced its plans to enter the Indian electric two-wheeler market by 2026. Initially, they were supposed to bring three electric scooters. However, patenting the Razor design does not mean that the scooter will be launched in India anytime soon.

The company has not yet announced its launch date, price, or other specifications in India. If the Razor does come to India, it will create direct competition in the premium electric scooter segment. This new model can help Vinfast further strengthen its position in the Indian market.
