Eden Animation Studio, a production house based in Udaipur and Big Giggles Ltd. a UK based entertainment company has signed a joint agreement to collectively generate resources in the co-production and development of multiple animation projects.

The deal is expected to see number of projects for TV, Home Video and multi platform licensing worth millions of dollars.

Both the companies will take individual responsibilities to foster this partnership to an anticipated level. Eden Animation Studio will see the post production part, while Big Giggles will take care of pre-production developments.

Dinesh Jain Dawara (in photo), the Chairman of Eden Animation said, “We are looking forward to work with Big Giggles; by this we are also forming an International Brand – Big Eden.”

“This is not our first overseas partnership; Eden Animation Studio is jointly operating in Sweden, North America and Russia,” said Anirban Nag, Business Development Head.

“Outsourcing is a trend but this collaboration is not out souring but a co-production and both the parties hold certain number of shares,” he said.

Eden Animation Studio is mainly into production and post production activities while other aspects like sound, script and characters are provided by partnered companies. The studio holds a strong status in 2D and 3D animation Industry in India and has produced a number of animation contents like Noor e Berooz, The Adventures of Imba Man and Yo Hao! Hao! etc.

While talking to UT, Dinesh Jain said, “Our Company is generating great employment opportunities in Udaipur, many professionals who had migrated to the metro cities for better packages are returning back and applying in Eden.”

In an another development, the three times Emmy winner, Jeffery Scott has signed on to write the script for Eden Animation Studio’s new feature-length romantic movie The Gift of Sacred Lake.

The Telford, UK based Big Giggles has a big name in entertainment industry and team up with many renowned companies.
