Eden Animation set deal with Russian Animation StudioContinuing the series of progressive development, Eden Animation Studio, Udaipur announced a Multi Property Co Production Deal with Argus Group, a Russian Animation & Film Production Studio based in Moscow.

Dinesh Jain, Chairman of Eden Group informed that the co-production deal by ‘Eden Animation Studio’ and ‘Argus Film Studio’ is for production of one 3D feature length animated movie and one 3D TV series. The feature film is awarded coveted certification of ‘National Film of Russia’ by Russian Ministry of Culture.

The feature film is based on a fantasy story and could be enjoyed by all age group. It would be released worldwide at the time of Christmas in 2013 while the TV series production will commence in second quarter of 2013.

Producer and CEO of Argus, Vladimir Repin enlightens that the script of the film is written by very popular Russian author Alexander Kurliansky, who created animation serials like “Ну, погоди!” (Well, just a moment), “Parrot Kesha’s Adventures” and will be directed by Alexey Kotyonochkin, Elena Chernova.

Argus Film Studio, which was founded in 1991, produces animated, documentary and feature films, advertising films and spots. The studio has been awarded by many international and national awards like the Mike Gribble award for film “It’s my life” in the year 2001, “Golden Eagle” for 2004 film “The Nutcracker”, “Silver Boat” for film “Petrel” in 2005 and many others.

Eden Animation Studio is mostly into co production arrangements with studios from Europe, North and South America. The studio is also developing own IPs with recognized writers and creative consultants from USA.

A month before, Eden has announced their partnership with UK based Big Giggles.
