Eva 2010 – Shopping Fair by Women of Udaipur

Anupam Mahila Club, Udaipur every year organizes Annual Fete ‘Eva’, which is one of the oldest ladies clubs of Udaipur of 200 members. This time it is organized at Vinayak Vatika, near Fatehpura Circle. This is the fifth time in succession that Anupam Mahila Club has structured this large commercial event Eva. It’s being organized for three days 8 ^th, 9th and 10 ^th of October, 2010. Every day, evenings are meant for cultural programs, on the first day Dandiya was organized. Today i.e. 9 ^th October, 2010 is a Talent Hunt Competition and tomorrow will be a Bumper Housie. People have come from all over India, to set up their business stalls in this event like from Jaipur, Ahmadabad, and even Mumbai. Eva is a perfect shopping delight for women as it offers a varied range of women products from T-shirts, Kurtis, Tops, Salwar-Suits, Sarees, Footwear, Accessories, Jewelry, Cushion Covers, Bed sheets, Soft toys to Handmade Decorative Items. All the shops are beautifully lined up and it helps visitors to easily locate any particular shop. Mrs. Shewta Jain of Diva Collection says, “It is my first time with Eva and the response is quite good, all items available at my shop are handmade, like envelopes, paintings, rangoli and other decorative show pieces”. For refreshments at Eva, stalls of Brijwasi Chat Bhandar, Mayur Juice Centre, Khana Khajana and Bon Appetite are set up. Almost everything what a women wants can be found here.
