State Government has tied up with Facebook for increasing the business of local handicraft artists and the Small and Medium enterprises of Udaipur. As part of the initiative, a seminar will be organised in the UCCI auditorium on Tuesday, Aug 30, from 3pm to 5pm.

Vipul Jani, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Udaipur informed that the seminar has been titled “Boost your Business Initiative”. Representatives from Facebook will be managing the seminar and will guide the members through the process of boosting their business through the social media platform.

Facebook representatives will take the seminar discussions to a logical conclusion by staying in Udaipur for the next 4 days post the seminar and support artisans and SME owners in designing the Facebook pages for boosting their business. Artisans and businessmen will then be able to sell their artifacts/products directly via Facebook.

The seminar is open to all and there is no entry fee.
