Managing Director and CEO of Karnataka Bank Ltd, P Jayarama Bhat inaugurated the forex business of Udaipur branch on Friday by lightening the lamp. On the occasion, Deputy General Manager of Delhi Region, Vijay Shankar Rai was also present.

Of all 520 branches in India, Udaipur branch is the 1^st Karnataka bank branch in Rajasthan and 19^th in India which is designated as forex branch.

After the inauguration, a customer meet was also organized in branch premises. While addressing the meet, Bhat gave information about export and import procedures. The dignitaries present were Mangilal Lunawat, Anandi Lal Mehta, Dr Ramesh Chandra Ojha, Moti Singh Maroo, Sayeed Iqbal, C V Bhatt.

It is remarkable that Udaipur branch was opened in March 2008 and since then it has made a customer base of more than 10000 in 4 years.
