Form is Temporary, Class is Permanent - PhonePe takes a dig at PayTM

As Paytm Payments Bank tweeted taking a dig at rival PhonePe (Flipkart) following the outage of services of the latter, PhonePe shot back saying that Paytm's platform is not scalable else the company would have approached it earlier.

Following the moratorium on YES Bank a week back, PhonePe's services were disrupted as PhonePe uses YES Bank platform for its transactions.  Sameer Nigam, founder of PhonePe said that the outage had disrupted its payment appplication due to the restrictions handed over to YES by RBI.  He added that the services will be live soon.

Subsequent to this announcement, rival Paytm Payments Bank tweeted - "Inviting you to @PaytmBank #UPI Plat"form.  It already has a huge adoption and can seamlessly scale manifold to handle your business. Let's get you back up...fast!.

PhonePe shot back, saying that the Paytm platform is not seamlessly scaalbe else the company would have themselves approached it.

"Dear @PaytmBank Inviting you to consiider that f your #UPI platform was so "seamlessly scalable" we'ed have called you ourselves. No point getting back up faster, if we have to desert our long term partners when they are down.  Form is temporary, Class is permanent, said the PhonePe twitter handle.

PhonePe, being one of the largest digital payments platform, is dependent on Yes Bank to process its transactions.
