Udaipur will soon be hosting another luxury hotel chain. Relais & Chateaux, a French-based global fellowship of individually owned Hotels and Restaurants is planning to open its property in Udaipur.

According to Angeline Tang, Director of Sales and Marketing, Relais & Chateaux, as quoted by the website of Overseas Property Professional, the hotel chain is already established at six other locations in India and is planning to launch three more in Rajasthan in the cities of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Tang further talked about the company’s entry in India in the year 2008, when the first Indian property joined Relais & Chateaux. They currently have six properties across the country as well as another in Sri Lanka.

The company maintains a total of 518 properties which employ approximately 22,000 people in 60 countries while the number in the Indian Subcontinent including Sri Lanka is 300 employs over seven locations.
