Candidates who have given GATE this year must be eagerly waiting for the result. The wait for the result is soon going to be over as the official dates are out. As per the details on the official website, the results for the 2019 exam would be declared on March 16th, 2019. Taking on the trends from the past three years of GATE results, we can observe that the results are announced a day or two close to the officially announced date.

The exam was conducted on February 2nd & February 3rd, 2019 and February 9th & 10th, 2019. Lakhs of candidates from across the country appeared for this coveted engineering examination. Now, all eyes are on the declaration of  GATE results.

Post declaration of result, GATE scorecard would be published on the official website. The scores of the exam would be valid for three years. The counselling and admissions based on the result of the exam which would start in April-May.

The application process for PSUs (Public Sector Units) based on GATE 2019 result is already started. Interested candidates can make an application for the same using their GATE 2019 roll number/application number.

GATE 2019 Results Download

Candidates who took the GATE 2019 exam last month can check their results by visiting the official website. They can follow the below-mentioned step by step process for checking their GATE Results.

• Go to the GATE 2019 official website
• Now click on GATE 2019 results
• GOAPS portal would appear
• Enter login details on the portal
• Press the submit tab
• GATE 2019 results would get displayed on the screen

GATE 2019 Scorecard

GATE 2019 scorecard would be published soon after the result declaration. The scorecard would be required to be produced by the candidate at the time of counselling cum admission process. GATE 2019 scorecard would also be needed at the time of document verification stage before final admission.

Details that GATE 2019 scorecard would reflect are:

• Candidate’s name
• Father and Mother name
• GATE 2019 registration number
• GATE 2019 roll number
• The category under which the candidate is classified
• Category rank of the candidate
• All India rank of the candidate
• Subject/Engineering Stream for which candidate took GATE 2019
• The normalised score obtained by the candidate
