Gold and Silver Hit All-Time Highs on Jan 13
In 2025, gold surged 75% while silver jumped 167%, according to IBJA data
Udaipur, Jan 13, 2026 - Gold and silver prices touched record highs for the second consecutive day on Tuesday (January 13). According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of silver rose by Rs 6,566 to Rs 2,62,742 per kilogram. Just a day earlier, silver had created an all-time high of Rs 2,57,283 per kg.
In just two days, silver prices have increased by nearly Rs 20,000 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 33 to reach a fresh all-time high of Rs 1,40,482. On the previous day, gold was priced at Rs 1,40,449 per 10 grams.
In 2025, gold prices have surged by 75%, while silver prices have skyrocketed by 167%.
Silver prices witnessed a sharp spike, higher when compared to gold. Its price jumped by Rs 1,44,403, an increase of 167%. On December 31, 2024, silver was priced at Rs 86,017 per kilogram, which surged to Rs 2,30,420 per kg by the end of 2025.
During 2025, gold became costlier by Rs 57,033, marking a rise of 75%. On December 31, 2024, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold was Rs 76,162, which climbed to Rs 1,33,195 by December 31, 2025.
