Udaipur, February 1, 2025 - Gold continues to set record highs every day. On January 30, the price of gold in Udaipur was Rs 83,500 per tola. Gold has become 31% more expensive in one year. In the last six months, gold prices have surged by 20%. Three months ago, the price of gold was Rs 80,000 per tola. At the beginning of January, the price was around Rs 78,000 per tola, showing an increase of Rs 5,500 in a month.

Market volatility owing to the policies of the US Federal Reserve and President Donald Trump has led to increased buying of gold as a safe investment in the international market. This has beem responsible for the rapid rise in gold prices over the past month, say market analysts.
