Hindustan Zinc Ltd and Cairn India signed a pact with the government of Rajasthan to invest Rs. 20,500 Cr in the state in the next three years.

The MoU was signed by Akhilesh Joshi, CEO of Hindustan Zinc and Mayank Ashar, CEO & Managing Director of Cairn India in the presence of CM Vasundhara Raje.

Hindustan Zinc in an integrated mining and producer of zinc, lead, silver and cadmium. Cairn India is an oil & gas exploration and production firm. Both are subsidiaries of Vedanta Resources.
